JOE RODELLA

Joe Rodella is the new Head Coach of the University of Pittsburgh’s ACHA Division 2 team for the 2008-2009 season. Joe has most recently held various coaching positions in the Mt. Lebanon High School Hockey organization from 2003-2008. Prior to that, he served as a coach in the Mt. Lebanon Hornets organization from 1998-2003. Joe holds a USA Hockey Advanced Certification.

Joe initially coached middle school football and college volleyball prior to settling on ice hockey. He was a high school volleyball player and was named 2nd team All State in 1977 en route to two state finals

Joe is also a multi-talented individual outside of the athletic arena. He is the President and CTO of a local technology company and recently completed a tenure as the President of the Mt. Lebanon School Board. Joe is happily married and is the proud father of four children, with the youngest now entering college.
