BOB WILKIE

Bob Wilkie became the Pitt Hockey recruiter for Central Pennsylvania in February of 2006. Bob has numerous on-ice accomplishments which include:

  • 1983 Calgary Blackhawks Bantam AA Western Canada runner up
  • 1984 Calgary Buffaloes Midget AAA 3rd in Canadian Nationals
  • 1985-89 WHL Swift Current Broncos
  • 90-93 Detroit Red Wings Organization
  • 93-96 Philadelphia Flyers Organization /Hershey Bears
  • 96-97 Augsburg Panthers Germany Division 1
  • 97-98 Fresno Falcons WCHL player asst. coach
  • 98-99 Pensacola Ice Pilots ECHL player asst. coach
  • 99-00 Anchorage Aces WCHL player, head coach

Bob was drafted in 1987 by the Detroit Red Wings in the second round, and he has won a Memorial Cup (CHL), a Calder Cup (AHL), and a Turner Cup (IHL) championship.

Bob now lives in the Hershey area and coaches youth hockey there. He currently is with the Hershey High School organization as well as the Keystone Generals.
