The Panthers are enthusiastically looking forward to the 2012-2013 season as the team is prepared to take another run at the ACHA Division 1 National Tournament. Second year Head Coach Stu Rulnick and his staff will lead a core group of veteran players who finished 22-9-3 during the previous season. The Panthers have lost 3 players to graduation including leading scorer, Robby McDyre.

The College Hockey Mid-America league schedule has become very competitive with the additions of Mercyhurst College and Robert Morris University. The non-conference schedule will be challenging as well with two games at Ohio University, road games at Buffalo, Drexel, and West Chester, a home and home with Kent State, and two home games vs. Indiana.
