Job Function/Responsibilities:
· Attend University of Pittsburgh Men's Ice Hockey games and record relevant statistics for the use of the coaching staff and the official team website
· The statistician should be familiar enough with ice hockey to be able to record individual player statistics for shots, face-offs, and plus/minus in a fast paced hockey game

· The Statistician will serve as an officially appointed staff member of University of Pittsburgh Men's Ice Hockey
· The Statistician will receive mention on the official website at www.pitthockey.com and in the club's annual program book.
· The Statistician will be reimbursed for any and all General Manager/Board authorized expenses.
· The Statistician has the option of travelling with the hockey team and receiving free lodging.
· This position is strictly volunteer.

Rules and Regulations:
· The Statistician shall not violate any of the provisions in the official Constitution of the Men's Ice Hockey Team.
· More specifically, the Statistician does not have the authority to enter into any contracts, leases, alliances, partnerships, or any other kind of agreements on behalf of the University of Pittsburgh.
· Furthermore, the General Manager/Board of Directors must approve any and all expenditures that are to be paid from a University of Pittsburgh account.
· The Statistician may not make representations about the University of Pittsburgh and/or the Men's Ice Hockey Team to the media and/or any athletic organizations and associations unless the representation is already public knowledge and is readily available on the official Pitt Hockey website (www.pitthockey.com) or through official team press releases.
