Game Day Manager

Job Function/Responsibilities:
· Run all University of Pittsburgh Ice Hockey game days in an efficient and organized manner
· Recruit and manage event staff members, who along with the Game Day Manager, will run the admissions table, play music, and run the official scorekeeper's booth
· The organized admissions table will be maintained with clear signage that is professional in appearance, ensure that sponsor's advertisesments are properly displayed, and offer Pitt Hockey merchandise for sale
· The official scorekeeper's booth will be responsible for operating the scoreboard, keeping the official scoresheet, and playing music during stoppages in play
· The responsibilities of this position may be divided amongst two people

Benefits:
· The Game Day Manager will serve as an officially appointed staff member of University of Pittsburgh Men's Ice Hockey
· The Game Day Manager will receive mention on the official website at www.pitthockey.com and in the club's annual program book.
· The Game Day Manager will be reimbursed for any and all General Manager/Board authorized expenses.
· This position is strictly volunteer.

Rules and Regulations:
· The Game Day Manager shall not violate any of the provisions in the official Constitution of the Men's Ice Hockey Team.
· More specifically, the Game Day Manager does not have the authority to enter into any contracts, leases, alliances, partnerships, or any other kind of agreements on behalf of the University of Pittsburgh.
· Furthermore, the General Manager/Board of Directors must approve any and all expenditures that are to be paid from a University of Pittsburgh account.
· The Game Day Manager may not make representations about the University of Pittsburgh and/or the Men's Ice Hockey Team to the media and/or any athletic organizations and associations unless the representation is already public knowledge and is readily available on the official Pitt Hockey website (www.pitthockey.com) or through official team press releases.
