Equipment Manager

Job Function/Responsibilities:
· Issue jerseys, pant shells, and socks to University of Pittsburgh Ice Hockey players
· Wash and maintain uniforms as necessary
· Ensure that players' sticks are taped and skates are sharpened on game day
· The job function and responsibilities for this position are negotiable

Benefits:
· The Equipment Manager will serve as an officially appointed staff member of University of Pittsburgh Men's Ice Hockey
· The Equipment Manager will receive mention on the official website at www.pitthockey.com and in the club's annual program book.
· The Equipment Manager will be reimbursed for any and all General Manager/Board authorized expenses.
· This position is currently volunteer, but a stipend may be negotiated depending on the extent of the workload

Rules and Regulations:
· The Equipment Manager shall not violate any of the provisions in the official Constitution of the Men's Ice Hockey Team.
· More specifically, the Equipment Manager does not have the authority to enter into any contracts, leases, alliances, partnerships, or any other kind of agreements on behalf of the University of Pittsburgh.
· Furthermore, the General Manager/Board of Directors must approve any and all expenditures that are to be paid from a University of Pittsburgh account.
· The Equipment Manager may not make representations about the University of Pittsburgh and/or the Men's Ice Hockey Team to the media and/or any athletic organizations and associations unless the representation is already public knowledge and is readily available on the official Pitt Hockey website (www.pitthockey.com) or through official team press releases.
